Our lane
Culture is fundamental to EIFF, but cinema is the gateway. Ekiti hosts and anchors the festival; EIFF exists to take Ekiti into the international film conversation.
Where do you belong in EIFF?
What EIFF is
An international cinema institution, headquartered in Ekiti.
EIFF is not another event happening in Ekiti. It is designed to connect screen culture with industry, destination, enterprise and investment — a festival, an industry market, a creative summit, a destination platform and an investment forum built to work together rather than as separate events that happen to share a week.
Ekiti State already has a broad arts-and-culture platform in EKIFEST. EIFF complements it rather than competing with it, occupying a more precise international film and screen-industry lane.
About EIFFTwo distinct lanes
- EKIFEST — broad lane
- Arts, traditional culture, heritage, performance and state cultural celebration. Cultural preservation and creative participation.
- EIFF — distinct lane
- International cinema, screen industry, film commerce and global exchange. Film market, industry networking, destination tourism and investment convening.
EKIFEST celebrates and preserves Ekiti's broader arts and cultural heritage. EIFF takes Ekiti into the international film conversation.
Industry & Film Market
The clearest thing that
separates us from a
cultural festival.
The industry side of EIFF is deliberately prominent. Not every function launches at full scale in year one — but the architecture is built so each can be activated without rebuilding the platform.
Explore the industry programmeFilm market
Buyers, distributors and platform participation.
Accreditation
Industry delegates, press and market badges.
Masterclasses
Craft and knowledge sessions led by practitioners.

Partner conversations across borders.

EIFF ID
One identity, every role you hold
A stakeholder identity system rather than a decorative login. One EIFF ID is designed to carry whichever roles a person holds, so the institution never depends on disconnected spreadsheets and personal phones as it grows.
Filmmakers
Submissions, screener links and selection status against one profile.
Audiences
Passes and credentials once ticketing opens, held as a single QR identity.
Industry delegates
Accreditation, delegate directory and meeting requests.
Media & press
Accreditation, press materials and interview scheduling.
Speakers & volunteers
Summit participation, availability and call sheets.
Sponsors & investors
Partnership and Investment Forum participation, kept distinct.
Visit Ekiti
Experience Ekiti
The objective is not simply tourism information. EIFF exists partly to convert festival attendance into destination visitation and local economic activity.
Ikogosi Warm Springs
Nature · Ikogosi-Ekiti
Discover one of Ekiti’s best-known natural attractions, where warm and cold springs meet within a lush landscape — an enduring symbol of the state’s natural character.
Arinta Waterfalls
Nature · Ipole-Iloro
Set within the landscape of Ipole-Iloro, Arinta Waterfalls offers a striking encounter with cascading water, forest pathways and the natural beauty of Ekiti.
Olosunta Hill
Heritage · Ikere-Ekiti
Rising above Ikere-Ekiti, Olosunta Hill is a distinctive natural and cultural landmark offering dramatic scenery, local heritage and a different perspective on the landscape of Ekiti.
Ekiti Tourism & Investment Forum
The bridge between attention and opportunity
Not another conference page inside a film festival. The Forum turns the attention cinema creates into credible destination, business and investment conversations.
Sponsor and investor are not the same thing. Sponsoring EIFF does not mean investing in or owning EIFF.
