Terms & ticket conditions

One EIFF ID belongs to one person. Credentials are issued in the name on the account and are checked at venue entrances. Sharing a credential invalidates it.

Single screening tickets may be exchanged for another screening up to 24 hours before the original start time, subject to availability. Passes are non-refundable but may be transferred once through the box office.

Seats not claimed ten minutes before a screening begins may be released to the standby queue.

Films, times and venues may change. Where a session you hold a ticket for is cancelled, you will be offered an exchange or a refund of that ticket. Where a session moves, you are notified in-platform and by email.

Recording of any kind is prohibited in all screening venues. Festival staff may refuse admission or remove a credential where conduct endangers or seriously disrupts other attendees.

Payments are taken by a licensed provider and verified server-side before any entitlement is issued. Third-party transaction charges imposed by the provider are separate from festival fees.
