Privacy notice

Your EIFF ID holds the name, email address and optional phone number and city you give us, the roles you activate, and the records of what you do on the platform — saved films, schedule, orders, submissions and accreditation applications.

Payment card details are handled entirely by our licensed payment provider. EIFF never receives or stores them.

To issue and verify credentials at venue entrances, to fulfil ticket and submission transactions, to communicate operational changes such as venue moves, and to produce aggregate reporting for festival stakeholders and funders.

Marketing communications are sent only where you have given consent, which you may withdraw at any time from Profile & roles.

Operational staff see only the information their role requires. Ticketing staff do not see submission content; programming staff do not see payment records. Access to sensitive administrative actions is logged.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not publish browsable directories of users.

Transaction records are retained for seven years as required for financial reporting. Submission records are retained for three editions. Accounts inactive for five years are anonymised rather than deleted, so historical reporting stays intact.

You may request a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw consent, or ask for your account to be closed. Write to privacy@eiff.ng and we will respond within thirty days.
