EIFF 2027 is in development. Programme, venues, dates and pricing are not yet announced. Anything resembling festival content on this site is a design placeholder, not approved EIFF information.

Passes & tickets

One EIFF ID, one credential.

How attending EIFF 2027 will work — and where ticketing currently stands.

Ticketing

Passes are not on sale yet.

Pass types and pricing are set against the programme, the venue plan and the operating calendar — they are not decided in isolation. Publishing a price before those are fixed means changing it later, which is worse for everyone planning a trip. Nothing is on sale, and no pricing on this site should be treated as an EIFF figure.

Published here once approved

  • Pass and ticket types, with what each admits you to
  • Prices, including any student and community rates
  • On-sale dates and how to buy
  • Access, exchange and refund terms

EIFF publishes festival facts once they are approved, rather than announcing and revising. Follow Screen Stories for announcements as each part is confirmed.

How it will work

The credential, explained

This part is already built. When ticketing opens, it is what a pass attaches to.

One identity

Your EIFF ID is the account. Passes, accreditation and submissions attach to it rather than living in separate systems.

One credential

Whatever you hold resolves to a single QR credential in My EIFF — screenings, ceremonies and the market hall read the same code.

Scanned once

A credential is checked in once per session, so the same code cannot admit two people to the same screening.

Roles, not accounts

Attending, submitting a film and holding industry accreditation are roles on one identity — not three separate logins.

Be first to know

An EIFF ID created now carries whatever role you take on later — audience, filmmaker, delegate, press or partner.
